THE Cape winter may be under way but don’t be a couch potato. Warm up with the comedy fare on offer at the Baxter

Sne Dladla’s new solo show, iChameleon is on from Tuesday until July 8 in the Baxter Golden Arrow Studio. After Dladla wraps up, downstairs in the main theatre, the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival is on from July 10 to August 6. In Grahamstown, there is fantastic line-up of international and local comedy at the National Arts Festival from Thursday to July 9.

iChameleon is directed by Loukmaan Adams and produced by Nik Rabinowitz. Dladla, 26, is a wunderkind. The winner of two Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards and a Silver Ovation Award at the National Arts Festival for his first one-man show, The Joke’s On You, he moves seamlessly between drama, musicals and comedy.

Recently the cast was announced for the highly anticipated King Kong – the musical at the Fugard and Dladla has nabbed the role as the narrator, Pop.

Before seeing him in the musical, what can we expect with iChameleon?
