Weekend Argus (Saturday Edition)
ClareMart auction guide celebrates its 100th edition
TODAY sees the publication of the 100th edition of the ClareMart Auction Guide, which was launched by the ClareMart Auction Group in 2014.
The group also introduced the first auction supplement into Weekend Argus more than a decade ago, according to Jonathan Smiedt, ClareMart’s chief executive officer.
“This raised the bar as to how auctioneers marketed their auctions,” he says.
Smiedt outlines the history of the ClareMart Auction Guide: “Following a strategy session with Independent Media and conducting international best practice research, ClareMart ceased its traditional advertising in the auction supplements in the various Independent titles and launched its own ClareMart Auction Guide, which has become an integral part of how Weekend Argus readers engage with property content.”
“Auctions are a viable platform for buying and selling property, and the South African public are becoming more aware of its advantages and benefits.
“The auction market share continues to grow as institutions, large corporates, government departments and the general public look for faster and more competitive market avenues to achieve results.”
The ClareMart Auction Guide offers a unique selection of nationwide real estate content and general auctions that allows property readers to gauge the market and make informed decisions on their property needs, he says.
“Change is part of the growth of our brand and, in reaching its 100th edition, our ClareMart Auction Guide has evolved, bringing readers more relevant and up-to-date information in a fast-paced and growing auction industry,” he says.
“I am proud to have been part of the evolution of our product and can assure our loyal readers that ClareMart, as an industry leader, will continue to present the market with top-of-the-line service and premier auction events.
“See you on the auction floor.”
