Nuutgevonden enters final phase
THE FINAL phase of the Nuutgevonden development in Stellenbosch was launched this week by Asrin Property Developers.
Particularly exciting is that there are five free-standing, full title homes as well as sectional title apartments for sale in the last phase, says Chas Everitt agent Elmarie van Huyssteen.
“And the pricing is as competitive as one can get.”
Since Nuutgevonden’s launch five years ago – with the occupation of the first units only four years ago – homes in the development have increased in value, on average, by 15% a year.
Apartments of 60m² bought for R569 000 would now sell for around R960 000.
The value of the houses has increased from R899 000 to selling prices of R1.55 million.
Many of the apartments at Nuutgevonden were bought by parents whose children attend Stellenbosch University and most of the remainder have tenants who are professionals who work at the surrounding wine farms and restaurants.
A total of 62 two-bedroom apartments, each averaging 60m², and ranging in price from R965 000 to R995 000, are for sale. These will be in five walk-up blocks, two and three storeys high.
The development also has a central courtyard with a communal area, and parking bays allocated to each unit.
In addition, each portion is access controlled and offers on-site security.
The finishes in the apartments and houses are of a high standard, with built-in Smeg ovens and hobs in the kitchens, granite or Caeserstone countertops, and superior A-Grade ceramic tiles or a choice of laminate wooden flooring.
All the units will have solar panel water heating and fibre optic cable availability.
