Rolling Stone’s penthouse for sale

It may be why he had the advice “You’re never too young to rock and roll” emblazoned on the walls of his New York penthouse, which he is selling for £9.1 million (R163m).

The Rolling Stones guitarist has put the stylish One Fifth Avenue home on the market three years after he bought it for £8m. Features in the two-storey flat include an Andy Warhol-style painting, a gold chair in the shape of a hand, vinyl records on the wall and a Union Jack print.

There’s also an 11m living-dining Start Me Up area, an open staircase with a leather wrapped bronze handrail and stunning views of the city. Last year the 27th floor property failed to sell for £9.3m. – Daily Mail
