Family home is ‘a handyman’s dream’

-

THE house is “an excellent bargain” says Dan van Zyl, owner and auctioneer at Ikaya Properties, of the Kraaifontein family home that will be sold by auction this month.

Van Zyl believes the property, which forms part of a deceased estate, offers potential buyers “a handyman’s dream”.

The home has three bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate toilet, kitchen, lounge/ dining room, braai room with bar counter and toilet, tandem garage, double garage and double car port. It is fenced and has an automated gate.

Van Zyl says the property needs “a fair deal of attention”.

The property will be sold without a reserve price, although the sale must be approved by the executor of the estate.

All outstanding rates and taxes will be paid by the estate.

The auction will take place on site at 144, 4th Avenue, Belmont Park, Kraaifontein, at 11am on Tuesday.

Potential bidders must provide an identity document and proof of residence for registra- tion. There are no related registration fees.

The buyer must pay a deposit of 10% of the purchase price, and the auctioneer’s commission, by electronic transfer or bank guaranteed cheque, on the day of the auction.

For more details call Dan van Zyl on 021 854 3711 or 082 458 3867.
