CELEBRITIES across the country are finding festive cheer.

International male model and activist Sanele Xaba will head to the east coast for a dip in the warm Indian Ocean and to catch up with family and friends.

Hip hop music’s latest edition to the industry, YoungstaCPT, will be hard at work performing at several festivals and shows. The Yasis hitmaker said: “I’ll be working in and around Cape Town most of the festive season but at least those who are on holiday can have fun and dance.”

YoungstaCPT will continue doing his charitable work in the Cape Flats. “I do charitable work every day of every month, so I’ll just continue assisting those in need and inspiring those who need it most, young and old alike,” he said.

Kfm radio personality Sechaba G said: “I will definitely be spending some time in the Cape but the plan is to head to Gauteng to see extended family and spend a couple of days in Mozambique just before the New Year.

“My husband and I don’t like over-planning; the most important thing is winding down and spending time with him and my son. We recharge and reconnect.”

In keeping with her holiday tradition, Sechaba G will gorge on “food, food and more food”.

“Whether it’s just me and the boys or our extended family, we always go big on food. This is obviously followed by the unwrapping of gifts. Last year we tried a pine Christmas tree as opposed to a normal one; boy did we get pricked. I’ll stick to a normal tree this time.”

Top Billing presenter and artist Jade Hübner will take a personal holiday after two-anda-half years since being on the lifestyle show.

“I am excited for the holiday season. I am travelling to Rio, Brazil with my three best friends for a pre-bachelorette extreme getaway, because the one is getting married next year. We have been best friends for 12 years and they are practically my sisters. I’m nervous and excited, it feels surreal but it is going to be incredibly special and a ton of fun,” she said.

Hübner said although she will be abroad for the holiday season she has arranged Christmas gifts for those in need.

“This Christmas please don’t throw away any leftovers, give it to those in need. Please have a look at sponsoring a child’s food for a year. It’s only R450 to feed a child for an entire year which goes a much longer way than a deteriorating gift. You can’t teach a hungry child and education is the only way to give someone a chance at a better future and improve South Africa’s future. Go to psfa.org.za to make a difference this Christmas,” she said.

Morning Expresso presenter Katlego Maboe is planning a romantic getaway with his partner and, by the looks of it, an overseas trip.

“Give me a beach and a warm climate and I’m happy. I like the idea of just completely switching off. There’ll be nothing but relaxation and rejuvenation. It’s been a crazy 2017. I just want to take some time out to relax.”

The new gift set comes in a trendy plum colour and includes a straightener, hairdryer and two OPI nail polishes.

Nespresso promises caféstyle beverages which can be made in your kitchen. Although it might set you back a few thousand of rands, there are many specials and
