Bid for prime properties in Riversdale
Industrial premises and residential erven are seen as ‘business investments’
THE UPCOMING auctions of an industrial site and 12 residential erven in Riversdale in February will present potential buyers with “outstanding development opportunities in a busy little hub that is well situated on the N2 highway”.
This is according to
Willie van Rensburg of
BKB Properties, who says Riversdale is a picturesque town situated about 300km from Cape Town and about 140km from George on the Garden Route.
“The town services most of the region’s farming needs and serves as a good stopover for people travelling to or from Cape Town. It lies beneath the Langeberg mountains and offers access to a multitude of outdoor activities in the region. I view these properties as both business and lifestyle investments.”
The first property to go under the hammer will be the industrial site, which has good infrastructure.
“The premises include neat offices, a storeroom, a warehouse with ample storage and a large parking space,” Van Rensburg says.
“The site measures 8 000m² and is located in Fritz Grub Crescent in Riversdale.”
The auction of the industrial site will be followed by that of the 12 residential erven, which are located in Blue Gum Street.
The vacant plots have a total size of 2 899m² and will be offered as one lot.
The auctions will be held at Spitskop, Stene and Beton in Fritz Grub Crescent at 11am on February 22.
Viewing of the properties is by appointment only.
