Monthly yard auction will offer many assets

WH Auctions Cape will hold its monthly yard auction on Tuesday at its Epping premises, offering a large variety of assets from an expanding inventory list.

The items will include numerous assets from various financial Institutio­ns and fleet owners, says Martin Dibowitz, who heads the auction company’s Cape Town branch.

“A selection of late model executive and passenger cars, LDVs and panel vans, as well as repossesse­d accident-damaged and non-running vehicles will go under the hammer on the day,” Dibowitz says.

The commercial fleet includes water tankers, rigid and dropside four, five and eight-ton trucks, and long-distance truck tractors and trailers.

Among the earthmovin­g equipment on offer will be a mobile crane, crane trucks, rollers, TLBs and small plant, as well as tow-behind water bowsers.

In addition to the movable assets, a large number of cherry pickers and boom lifts, small constructi­on plant, pumps, generators, tools and smalls will go on the block next week, Dibowitz says.

The auction will be held at 10.30am on Tuesday.

The assets may be viewed at WH Auctions’ Epping 2 premises between 9am and 4.30pm on Monday.
