HEADING down the aisle soon? If so, then don’t miss the FAB Bridal Expo at Venue DÁria in Durbanvill­e this weekend.

Pick up tips and ideas from the designers, flower artists, wedding and event co- ordinators, photograph­ers and cake companies at the event, and from the venues, invitation­s, and jewellery on offer.

Here is your chance to pick a venue, book a honeymoon, meet a dress designer and design your invitation­s. The expo, now in its 18th year, will also feature fashion shows, a competitio­n and music. Tickets cost R80 at the entrance, and children under 12 can enter for free. The expo takes place today and tomorrow, from 9am until 4.30pm.

Fans of UK children’s show Peppa Pig have a chance to see their favourite characters at the Cape Town Convention Centre today and tomorrow.

Peppa Pig Live! is on stage for the first time in Cape Town following its popular debut in Joburg last week. An extra show has been added for 3.30pm this afternoon. The show is selling out fast so don’t miss your chance to see Peppa, George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig!

Tickets cost R199 at Computicke­t and discounted family packages are available.

If you’re interested in listening to live music on a lazy Sunday afternoon, don’t miss Concerts in the Park tomorrow.

Rock band Prime Circle will headline the show. Namibian band Crimson House and 2011 Idols SA runner-up Mark Haze will perform, and comedian Joe Emilio will be the MC at the event at De Waal Park. Food will be on sale and prizes and giveaways up for grabs. It is the last concert of the season. The music starts at 2pm.

The Cape Town Whisky Live Celebratio­n showcases a wide range of luxury whiskies from local to internatio­nal brands, including Bain’s Cape Mountain Whisky, Dewar’s, The Macallan and Jack Daniel’s. The event is being held at The Lookout, V&A Waterfront, from 6pm to 10pm, from Thursday to Saturday. Tickets cost R210 online, R250 at the door and R115 for designated drivers.

Ticket cost includes a tasting glass, 16 tasting vouchers and a bottle of water.
