Ex-pal in Mariah pay saga
MARIAH Carey’s former manager is threatening to sue her, alleging the singer sexually harassed her.
Stella Bulochnikov, who was also a close friend and confidante, filed documents in New York warning of her intention to seek damages.
They claim the American diva “did sexual things” in her presence and would appear naked in front of her.
Bulochnikov, who was fired by Carey in November, alleges the chart-topping star is addicted to alcohol, prescription pills and marijuana, according to Hollywood news website TMZ.
Carey, 48, denied the claims, with her team calling them “baseless”.
Bulochnikov worked with Carey for several years. She was an executive producer on her reality TV show Mariah’s World.
TMZ reports that a “huge amount of money” is being sought for missed payments as well as for alleged breaches of contract.
Bulochnikov’s lawyers threatened they would move to a “blockbuster exposé lawsuit” if the singer did not settle the claim.
A spokesman for Carey told E! News: “She has been spreading false rumours to any media outlet that will publish them. We won’t respond to lies and threats. Again, if this frivolous and baseless claim is filed, we will defend against it vigorously and successfully.”
