Construction firm equipment on offer

-

BIDWAY Auction House has received an instruction to sell the assets of a construction company which completed a massive project upcountry and then ran into a legal battle with the owners, forcing it to sell its assets by public auction.

Auctioneer Stef Olivier says the equipment and other assets will be offered as part of a combined auction at Bidway’s auction yard on Thursday.

“Among the items are a massive SANY STC 250 25-ton crane that has notched up only 4 500km, an eight-ton Gallion mobile crane, a 2007 Volvo BL71 TLB, a 2005 Volvo TLB, an almost new 2015 Isuzu NPR400 cherry picker truck that has only 8 000km on the clock, a 2012 Hino 700 2848 T/T 6x4 truck and a 2017 Skidsteer.”

Olivier says a 2015 Toyota Hilux single cab, a 2015 Mazda BT50 and 2013 Ford Range will also be on offer.

The sale of the construction company assets and vehicles will be incorporated into Bidway’s next appliances and furniture auction, which will feature Smeg, Samsung and LG appliances.

The appliances include Smeg gas stoves and combination fridges, and Samsung French-door and side-byside fridges. More than 20 top-end television sets will be on display on the auction floor.

“Also on offer will be high-end solid wood furniture and leather lounge suites.”

The auction will start at 11am on Thursday at 179 Albert Road, Woodstock.

The lots may be viewed between 9am and 4pm on Wednesday.
