● Vintage films at Romantique­s, the FynArts Walk with 19 participat­ing galleries presenting a FynArts exhibition, the group ceramic exhibition, and the Thread of Art Exhibition.

● Concerts include the Best Of Baroque; Richard Cock and the FynArts Choir with popular and well-known choruses from the Opera and Operettas; Nataniel in Concert with the Charl du Plessis Trio; and Cape Town Concert Brass. Students from the University of Cape Town (UCT) Opera School, young soloists from the Overberg/Western Cape, accompanie­d by the Enlighten Symphony Orchestra, as well as a performanc­e by participan­ts in a master class by George Stevens, voice trainer and acting head of the UCT Opera School.

● Dance Delights by Cape Town City Ballet; Jam Every Other Day, a beautiful and heartfelt piece of theatre; Late Night Jazz at Soul Café; and an afternoon book reading by Christophe­r Hope who will read from the Love Songs of Nathan J Swirsky.

● Kate Gottgens is this year’s festival artist. Kate’s exhibition of new works will be curated by Marilyn Martin with SMAC gallery, and be presented in the new FynArts Gallery in The Courtyard, off Harbour Road.

● Sculpture on the Cliffs 2018 has the human figure as its theme. Placed on the cliffs around Gearing’s Point, the works will display a diversity of material and technique.
