Bid for restaurant contents, 4x4, buses and motorbikes

THE CONTENTS of an upmarket 300-seater restaurant, which was situated in Canal Walk shopping centre, will be featured in a “massive” combined auction at Bidway Auction House’s Woodstock premises on August 23.

“The restaurant kitchen was filled with good quality catering equipment which is now on display on our auction floor at 179 Albert Road, Woodstock,” says auctioneer Stef Olivier.

Among the offerings will be eight under-counter bar fridges, glass-door beverage coolers, a curved-glass display fridge, convection ovens, ice machines, Soft Serve ice-cream machines, chip fryers and a Wega double-head coffee machine and coffee bean grinder.

A huge variety of stainless steel shelving, Euro shelving and 25 bays of heavy-duty Industrial shelving, as well as different sizes of stainless steel tables and pot sinks, will also be available.

In addition, buses, vehicles and exclusive motorbikes – including a 2016 Harley Davidson 883 Iron, a 2015 Soft Tail Deluxe Harley Davidson and a 2002 BMW GS1150 Adventure motorbike with motor cycle trailer – will go on the block.

“The buses on auction will be a 2016 Iveco and a 2012 Iveco, both 20-seaters, and a 2015 Citroen 18-seater. A 2009 Mitsubishi Pajero 4 x 4 will also be available.”

The auction will be held at 11am on August 23, with viewing on August 22 between 9am and 4pm.
