FUDGE AND BUBBLY – A MATCH

SOFT, buttery fudge… just the thought makes the mouth water. Now, add the bubbly zing of Polkadraai sparkling wine and you’ll discover a match made in tongue-twinging heaven. That’s just one of the exciting new pairing extravaganzas to launch for summer at Stellenbosch Hills this November.

For R40 a person, a duo of Stellenbosch Hills’ Polkadraai bubblies can be tasted, each with a custom-made fudge created by the boutique Basilei Handcrafted Confectionary.

Paired with traditional butter fudge, the Polkadraai Pinot Noir Sparkling Rosé 2018 is a wine that brims with flavours of red berry and strawberry, and a hint of candy floss.

The Polkadraai Sauvignon Blanc Brut 2018’s crisp palate and flavours of tropical fruit are just the ticket when sampled alongside Basilei’s delectable chocolate malt fudge.
