THE ZIEGERT Group is a family-owned, Berlin-based company offering a broad portfolio of services for the real estate industry. Its integrated business model includes brokerage, real estate financing, and project development in cooperation with building contractors and partners. The company is run by founder Nikolaus Ziegert, COO Sven Henkes, and CFO Kyrill K. Radev. It employs more than 200 people to support customers and partners, and generated sales of €315 million in 2017.
For 30 years, the group has been one of Berlin’s leading real estate brokers, providing comprehensive services for both property developers and private buyers – from acquisition of land to handover of occupancy-ready flats. For developers and investors, the ZIEGERT Group provides consulting services on optimal development and marketing in the earliest phases of a project. As the largest independent real estate financing broker in Berlin, it advises clients on the optimal structuring of their loans, drawing on its strong ties to some 300 financial institutions and its extensive knowledge about funding structures.
ZIEGERT also works to develop projects in cooperation with contractors and partners. Its in-house team of architects, developers, and financial experts helps contractors design ambitious properties for future owners. Investors are supported by an in-house research division in the search for suitable plots and the planning of new projects
The company plans to continue its growth by expanding its activities throughout Germany.
To that end, it initiated a cooperation with Knight Frank in 2017. As one of the largest independent real estate service providers in the world, Knight Frank is helping ZIEGERT further expand its global network. As part of the cooperation, a joint venture between the two companies was established in Frankfurt in early 2018. Since September 2018, the ZIEGERT Group has also been represented in Leipzig, thus further expanding its presence in Germany.
The company’s philosophy – as conceived more than three decades ago by founder and owner Nikolaus Ziegert – is to help as many people as possible build wealth through property acquisition, both for personal development and financial security.
