Bid for a fully-leased Plettenberg Bay factory
A PLETTENBERG Bay factory that could potentially generate a rental income of R46 500 per month will be up for auction on January 30.
The six-unit factory in Paris Street is housed in a 1200m² commercial property, which also offers an additional 100m² mezzanine office space, says Tanya Jovanovski, franchisee of Rawson Auctions Western Cape.
The building has an industrial zoning and all six units are currently leased on a month-to-month basis.
Five units measure 200m² each and one 400m².
Jovanovski says Plettenberg Bay is a major tourist destination that attracts visitors almost all year round, especially during whale season, from July to November, and the summer holiday season.
“As a popular holiday town, Plett needs all the services required by any major city and industries such as manufacturing, mining, agriculture, packaging, clothing and textiles are found there. The property on offer fulfils a role in housing such industries and this is one reason why it is leased on a month-to-month basis.”
The property will be auctioned at noon on January 30 at the Rawson Property Group head office at 222 Main Road, Rondebosch.
Offers should be submitted on Rawson Auctions’ Offer to Purchase form, a copy of which can be obtained by contacting info@rawsonauctions.com or 021 837 1700.
Bids can be delivered to the Rawson Property Group’s Rondebosch head office.
