- JBJ Reporter

WHAT began as an unlikely friendship between a teen Viking and a fearsome Night Fury dragon has become an epic adventure spanning their lives.

The movie

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

by DreamWorks Animation is a surprising tale about growing up, finding the courage to face the unknown… and how nothing can ever train you to let go.

Chief and ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, Hiccup creates a gloriously chaotic dragon utopia. When the sudden appearance of Light Fury coincides with the darkest threat their village has ever faced, Hiccup and Toothless must leave the only home they’ve known and journey to a hidden world thought only to exist in myth.

As their true destinies are revealed, dragon and rider will fight together – to the very ends of the Earth – to protect everything they’ve grown to treasure.

Hiccup has many varied and useful talents, like dragon training and riding.

Though he only discovers this ability during the first film, Hiccup has grown to become the best dragon trainer on the island. His dragon, Toothless, is the rarest and best dragon in the academy.

Even before Hiccup began to train dragons, he practised drawing. He is practically never without his journal and a large charcoal pencil.

His sketches are quick and slightly messy, but compared with most other Vikings he is quite good. He uses this talent often. He uses his artist talent to aid him in making plans and inventions. His room is littered with drawings of Toothless.

Hiccup learned a great deal about crafting from Gobber. His many years of apprenticeship have certainly paid off. He has created many ingenious devices.

He designed the mangler cannon which allowed him to take down a Night Fury.

After training Toothless, he created a new tail for him.

Besides that, Hiccup has managed to design a plethora of other objects.
