Restaurant equipment on offer
Contents of two Cape Town businesses will be available on new dedicated auction floor
WITH a focus on holding more restaurant and catering equipment auctions this year, Bidway Auction House has set up a new auction floor dedicated to the sale of goods of this kind at its premises at 179 Albert Road, Woodstock.
The first auction to be held there will take place on February 14, starting at 11am, and will feature the entire contents of two restaurants: one formerly located in Sea Point and the other at the V&A Waterfront, says auctioneer Stef Olivier.
The auction floor will be filled with stainless steel tables, pot sinks, wall shelving, under-counter bar fridges, double-door beverage coolers and kitchen equipment including double-head espresso coffee machines, chip fryers, flattop grillers and toasters.
The Sea Point restaurant specialised in pizzas, and offerings from this restaurant will include doubleand single-deck pizza ovens, dough mixers and upright deli display fridges. Also on auction will be convection ovens and combination steam ovens. Restaurant furniture, including restaurant chairs, tables and barstools, will also be available.
All the auction assets may be viewed on February 13, between 9am and 4pm at Bidway’s Woodstock auction house, or see www. bidway.co.za.
