Stuffed mush­rooms

12 medium brown mush­rooms

12 onion slices

12 tomato slices

30 ml (2 T) gar­lic and herb


30 ml (2 T) dried rose­mary 100 g cheese, grated

1 Re­move the stems from the mush­rooms. Place the mush­rooms on a work sur­face, with the gill side

SERVES 6 Prepa­ra­tion 10 min Cook­ing 15 min

up. Put a slice of onion and a slice of tomato on each mush­room.

2 Sprin­kle the sea­son­ing and rose­mary over, fol­lowed by the cheese.

3 Push a cock­tail stick into each mush­room to se­cure the fill­ing and braai on the cap side only over mod­er­ate coals un­til done. Re­move the cock­tail stick when done.
