Braaiing 1 pineap­ple, cut into large cubes

300 g straw­ber­ries, halved

3-4 kiwi fruit, cut into large cubes 250 ml (1 c) brandy (op­tional)

4 bars (55 g each) Bar-One choco­late,

roughly chopped

250 ml (1 c) cream sum­mer berry com­pote (recipe left,

op­tional)

Soak 6 ke­bab skew­ers in wa­ter to pre­vent them from catch­ing alight.

1 Thread the fruit onto the skew­ers and mar­i­nate in the brandy (if us­ing) for 1-2 hours. Braai over mod­er­ate coals for about 10-15 min­utes or un­til soft­ened and browned.

2 Melt the choco­late bars in a pan over the coals, adding the cream as they melt.

3 Serve the ke­babs with the choco­late sauce or berry com­pote (recipe left).
