RIB-EYE STEAKS WITH COFFEE RUB
10 ml (2 t) cumin seeds 30 ml (2 T) coffee beans 5 ml (1 t) dried chilli flakes 5 ml (1 t) paprika 5 ml (1 t) salt
5 ml (1 t) black pepper STEAKS
2 rib-eye steaks oil
1 Rub Place all the ingredients in a food processor or coffee grinder and grind until fine.
2 Steaks Rub the steaks with oil, then sprinkle the rub on both sides.
3 Braai over hot coals for about 7 minutes until medium-rare, turning every 2 minutes. Allow to rest for 12 minutes then serve.
