10 ml (2 t) cumin seeds 30 ml (2 T) cof­fee beans 5 ml (1 t) dried chilli flakes 5 ml (1 t) pa­prika 5 ml (1 t) salt

5 ml (1 t) black pep­per STEAKS

2 rib-eye steaks oil

1 Rub Place all the in­gre­di­ents in a food pro­ces­sor or cof­fee grinder and grind un­til fine.

2 Steaks Rub the steaks with oil, then sprin­kle the rub on both sides.

3 Braai over hot coals for about 7 min­utes un­til medium-rare, turn­ing ev­ery 2 min­utes. Al­low to rest for 12 min­utes then serve.
