Usethissim­ple yet tasty rub on a leg of lamb or pork or on a whole chicken.

10 ml (2 t) pa­prika

15 ml (1 T) brown sugar

5 ml (1 t) ground cumin

5 ml (1 t) mus­tard pow­der

10 ml (2 t) freshly ground black pep­per

5 ml (1 t) gar­lic salt

Mix all the in­gre­di­ents and store in an air­tight con­tainer.

MAKES ABOUT 50 ml
