Coleslaw hot dogs

Coleslaw and mayonnaise are delicious with boerewors.

SALAD DRESSING

125 ml (½ c) good-quality mayonnaise 15 ml (1 T) prepared mustard

5 ml (1 t) Dijon mustard

30 ml (2 T) honey

SALAD

500 ml (2 c) shredded cabbage

125 ml (½ c) finely grated carrots

2-3 finely chopped spring onions handful sultanas generous handful pecan nuts for

sprinkling on top

HOT DOGS

4 rye bread rolls, halved

500 g boerewors

1 Salad dressing Mix the ingredients.

2 Salad Mix the ingredients, except the nuts, and add half the dressing. Toss well. 3 Hot dogs Toast the rolls if desired. Braai the sausage over the coals until done.

4 Place a piece of sausage in each roll and top with a little coleslaw. Spoon over the remaining dressing and scatter the nuts on top.
