Gar­lic prawns

SERVES 4-6 Prepa­ra­tion 20-30 min Mar­i­nat­ing

1 hour Cook­ing 5-8 min

125 ml (½ c) olive

oil

15 ml (1 T) Di­jon

mus­tard

4 gar­lic cloves,

coarsely chopped juice of 1 le­mon juice of 1 or­ange 5 ml (1 t) dried basil 30 ml (2 T) white

wine (op­tional) 30 prawns, cleaned

1 Mix all the in­gre­di­ents ex­cept the prawns in a glass bowl.

2 Add the prawns, en­sur­ing they’re com­pletely cov­ered in the mari­nade.

3 Mar­i­nate for about 1 hour.

4 Pack the prawns in a fold­ing braai grid and braai over medium-hot coals for 5-8 min­utes un­til pink and done.
