Deep Fried bun in the oven!

He’s about to become a dad for the first time. What is comedian DEEP FRIED MAN most looking forward to? “I feel like a bit of an overgrown child myself sometimes so it’s going to be nice to have someone around who’s at my maturity level,” says the funnyman, aka DANIEL FRIEDMAN.

The comic, who is one of this year’s YOU Spectacular nominees in the Favourite Comedian category, and his web developer and designer wife JANINE are looking forward to the arrival of their baby boy – they’ve already had a mini bowtie and hat made so he can look just like his dad.

Janine (33) is seven months along and says feeling the little one kick helps her forget about the terrible heartburn she’s had to endure. Baby duties have been discussed and Daniel (35) says Janine will handle the more practical stuff because, “Let’s face it, that’s not really my thing.”

He adds, “I stay up late so I’ll be on 2 am baby duty and Janine’s more of a morning person so she’ll do the sunrise shift.”

Like any first-time parents, they’re a little nervous but help is on hand. “Our boy is going to have, believe it or not, seven grandparents! So I’m sure between them we’ll never need to call a babysitter,” Daniel says. “In the unlikely event that all grandparents are busy, we’d trust any of our friends who’ve managed to keep their own babies alive for more than a year.” 104 |
