The 24-year-old made the leap to music in 2009 when she released her debut album, Kiss & Tell, with her band The Scene. The record was a commercial hit and reached the top 10 of the US Billboard 200 album chart. Her second solo album, Revival (2015), also topped charts and spawned the hit singles Good For You, Same Old Love and Hands To Myself. Her latest track, It Ain’t Me with Norwegian DJ Kygo (25), is now making waves too. On top of all that she produced a new teen show about bullying, 13 Reasons Why, for Netflix. Busy girl!

A STAR IS BORN

One of the Texas native’s first acting gigs was in the kids’ TV show Barney & Friends when she was only seven! Selena played Gianna in two seasons of the show alongside her longtime pal Demi Lovato, singing and dancing with everyone’s favourite purple dinosaur. Too cute!
