Say what?!

To celebrate the first anniversary of her hit album Lemonade, BEYONCÉ (35) is giving away scholarships to four lucky young women to study at top institutions in the US. But there’s a catch: they must pursue a course in creative arts, literature, music or African-American studies.

In a statement on her website the pop star says she wants the scholarships “to encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box, and are bold, creative, conscious and confident”.

BILL COSBY (79) has announced he’s blind. In a recent interview the comedian and actor, who hasn’t spoken publicly in two years, told how he awoke two years ago and said to his wife, Camille, “I can’t see.” Doctors later confirmed there was nothing they could do. The news comes as the father of five prepares to go on trial for sexual assault. He’s accused of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand, a former Temple University employee, at his home in 2004. He’s pleaded not guilty and denies similar claims by more than 50 other women.

Turns out ADELE (28) is her own ultimate fan! The British songbird recently splashed out on a shop’s entire stock of cards featuring a drawing of her with the words, “Hello . . . it’s me”, from her hit track.

“Adele walked right up to the shelf and took the lot. She found it hilarious,” a source says. “The staff couldn’t believe she was in there, let alone her choice of purchase. She said she was going to send them to all her friends.”

A woman says credit should be given to her and not Hollywood star TOM HARDY (39) for catching a moped thief. Reports suggested the actor went into “superhero mode” when he ran after a 16-year-old boy who crashed the bike into a car. But Carly Holder (35), who was sitting at a nearby pub, says she was the one who caught the boy.

“Tom Hardy should come clean and admit it was me, not him. It’s rather galling he might become James Bond because of it.”
