Starting with a 2nd row of rib patt, work 7 rows in rib patt as given for the Front. C/off all sts ribwise.

TO MAKE UP

Using a back stitch, join the left shoulder seam and neckband. Fold the sleeves in half lengthways at the coloured marker in the c/off row, place the centre of the sleeve top into the centre of the shoulder seam, now sew the sleeves into the armholes, making sure the c/off sts at the armholes on the sleeves match the c/off sts at the armholes on the front and back. (Note: you may want to tack the sleeve head in position before you sew the actual seam for a perfect fit.) Using a ladder stitch, join the side and sleeve seams. Pin out the sweater to the given measurements. Cover with a clean damp towel and leave until dry. Do not press as you will flatten the stitch and spoil the texture.
