ANYONE who’s ever seen a movie will know the sights: the Hollywood sign looming large on a hillside, the wide palm tree-lined boulevards, the Santa Monica pier, the beach stretching into the distance . . . But this time it’s no movie. We’re in the heart of Los Angeles, on the doorstep of Tinseltown. The occasion? Face-to-face meetings with some of The Bold And The Beautiful’s cast members. Why? Because the world’s most-watched soapie recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.

For a few hours we hang out with several of the familiar faces who grace our TV screens daily – beautiful Brooke, brave Maya and patriarch Eric, to name a few.

The set is buzzing when we arrive and we’re taken to the control room where we watch on a monitor as a scene is shot.

“This is the sausage-making part of things,” a technician quips as the actors are put through their paces. “By the time it hits the airwaves it will look good.”

He isn’t kidding. Dozens of devious divorces, multiple mind-boggling marriages, loads of backhanded betrayals and countless riveting reveals are always primped and preened to look glossy and gorgeous when the soapie hits the air. We get a few of our fave stars to share their highlights and thoughts on the show.
