IT’S the question on many lips: why is COLEEN ROONEY (31) willing to give love-rat hubby WAYNE ROONEY (31) another chance? He’s had multiple flings – including the latest with 29-year-old party girl Laura Simpson (YOU, 14 September). Yet Coleen, who’s pregnant with their fourth child, still has feelings for the Everton striker, insiders say.

“She loves him,” one of Wayne’s pals dishes. “But more than that, she loves her family. Most of the time he’s a good husband and a hands-on dad.”

Coleen has asked Wayne, who’s said to be struggling to focus at practice, to request “sympathy leave” from his football club so they can work on their marriage problems. We reckon if he has any sense, he will.
