Despite his roving eye Hef tied the knot three times.

He got married to MILDRED WILLIAMS in the ‘50s. They were together for a decade and had two children, Christie (now 64) and David (now 62).

Wife No 2, former Playmate of the Year KIMBERLEY CONRAD, also gave Hef two kids, Marston (27) and Cooper (26), who’s now chief creative officer at Playboy Enterprises. They separated in 1998 after nine years.

The Playboy founder insisted he was always faithful during his marriages but “made up for it” when he was single.

In 2012 he embraced a life of monogamy when he married CRYSTAL HARRIS (then 26), a December 2009 Playmate. They wed in a romantic New Year’s Eve ceremony – even though just a few months prior she’d gotten cold feet and jilted him at the altar.

Hef claimed the 61-year age gap wasn’t a problem.

“Whatever time I have left, we want to spend together,” he tweeted.

Despite sticking with Hef in sickness and health, Crystal wasn’t mentioned in his will. Instead he chose to leave the bulk of his fortune – thought to stand at around $43 million (R559 million) – to his four children.

And it seems death really is the end for Crystal and Hef. In 1992 he bought the crypt next to the one in which Marilyn Monroe is buried in Westwood Village Memorial Park, Los Angeles.

He’s made it clear that’s where he wants to be buried so he can spend eternity next to the blonde who helped make his name – even though they never met.
