Sport biopic. American boxer Vinny Pazienza (a brilliant Miles Teller) has just turned his flagging career around under the tutelage of new trainer Kevin Rooney (Aaron Eckhart) when he’s involved in a car crash and his neck is broken. With the prospect of never being able to walk again, let alone box, Pazienza decides he’s not letting that deter him and makes a courageous comeback to face boxing great Roberto Durán.
