WHY SHIA FLEW INTO A RAGE

IN HIS first interview since his 2017 arrest for disorderly conduct, obstruction and public drunkenness, troubled actor SHIA LABEOUF has come clean about the root of his rage: overhearing the rape of his mother, SHAYNA SAIDE, when he was just 10 years old.

“When I got to rehab last year they said I had post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD),” the Transformers star told Esquire magazine.

The 31-year-old, who wed English actress Mia Goth (24) in 2016, was arrested in July last year. Leaked footage showed an irate Shia belittling a black police officer in a racist rant.

“The first time I got arrested it stemmed from the same s**t,” he says. “Some guy bumped into my mother’s car with his car in a parking lot, and my head went right to ‘you need to avenge your mother!’ So I went after the dude with a knife. I’ve always thought somebody was coming in. My whole life.”

During a lighter moment the star, who clearly has a soft spot for his mom, recalled taking Shayna to a Kanye West concert. “She is, of course, obsessed with Kanye West. When I brought her backstage he was a f**king sweetheart to her.”
