THE DARK TOWER

Sci-fi action. Adapting popular author Stephen King’s sprawling sci-fiwestern-fantasy epic for the big screen was never going to be easy, and this movie, which borrows elements from across his eight-part book series, doesn’t quite deliver the goods.

It stars Idris Elba as the Gunslinger, a warrior doing battle with The Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), who has grim plans for the universe.
