Had she ever faced sexual harassment, she was asked in the wake of the recent Harvey Weinstein fallout. Sharon burst out laughing and replied, “I’ve been in this business for 40 years. Can you imagine the business I stepped into 40 years ago? Looking like I look? From nowhere, Pennsylvania? I didn’t come here with any protection. I’ve seen it all.”

In another interview she talks about her early days in Tinseltown. “Was I treated unkindly? Sure. Did people say I was a f**king bitch? You bet. Did I face horrific situations? Of course. Like every other woman in every single job all over the globe.”
