You’re beautiful!

-

Not long ago I had an experience that changed my life. I woke up, looked in the mirror and started making positive affirmations about my life.

I told myself, “You’re beautiful”, “You’re powerful”, “Today marks the beginning of living your best life.” I spoke about things I wanted to see happen in my life.

Minutes after I left for work just down the road, around 5.30am, I met our new president, Cyril Ramaphosa, with his people taking his morning walk.

During the day I got a call offering me a new, better job. I’m happier, healthier and on my way to achieving bigger things in my life this year.

Speak positively about your life and see yourself becoming a better person and reaching your dreams. JOHANNES MANKOE, HYDE PARK

SWhen you say to me things such as “you’re fat and ugly” or “you’re useless”, it hurts. I’m a mother of two and I work six days a week. I also work after hours in our home for you and our kids. Your words never hurt me, they only made me stronger.

I’ve realised I’m a beautiful mom and wife, no matter the size of my pants. We’re all beautiful in our own way and should make it known.

To all the beautiful women in the world, no matter what people think of you, know you’re beautiful. You’re strong. Be the best you can be. RH, EMAIL
