Whether she’s meeting with schoolchildren, attending a sporting event or mingling with heads of state, she’s always the picture of demure elegance.

Knee-length coats paired with classic maternity-style dresses and sensible heels have become her signature look.

For glam events, her go-to designers through all her pregnancies have been Jenny Packham or Erdem, who come up with gowns that simultaneously dazzle and flatter her growing shape.

For day-to-day chic, maternity brand Séraphine is her favourite, especially when it comes to pretty printed florals and flowing dresses.

“Thanks to her innate love of a full-skirted coat, loose-fitting buttondown pieces, and the majority of the world’s most prestigious fashion designers vying to dress her, Kate is proving her worth as a style icon among pregnant ladies,” the UK’s Evening Standard says. “She continues to navigate the complex conundrum that is ‘maternity wear’ like an expert.” During a recent appearance Kate said no to maternity wear altogether, donning an outfit we last saw her wear in 2016. To be fair, it was a white track jacket, a pair of Monreal London tracksuit pants and Nike Air sneakers (LEFT), which she slipped into to play tennis with students as part of the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative. She looked super-comfy – not many moms would be able to fit into their pre-preggy clothes two months before their due date!
