In 2006 Arno won a best English contemporary album Sama for his solo release, The Hello Goodbye Boys.

Theo is a sought-after producer who’s worked with the likes of Prime Circle, The Parlotones, AKing, Fokofpolisiekar and Karen Zoid. Theo performed with late Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell at the 2009 My Coke Festival in Gauteng.

The Springbok Nude Girls’ previous full-length album was 2007’s Peace Breaker. In 2011 they released an EP, Apes with Shades. Arno, who’s released six solo albums, has been called the “godfather of SA Rock” by Mail & Guardian.

His favourite artists include U2, the Rolling Stones, Francois van Coke, Nick Cave, Freshlyground, Depeche Mode and Bruce Springsteen.

Arno is also a celebrated fine artist. His oil paintings have been exhibited at various Cape Town galleries.
