3 large potatoes oil for deep-frying salt
1 Peel the potatoes and cut into thin strips about 3mm wide. 2 Pat dry and deep-fry in batches in hot oil for about 7 minutes a batch until crispy.
TIP
Keep the potato strips in a bowl of cold water to prevent them from turning brown. Pat dry before frying otherwise the oil will spatter.
