Thriller. Ever wondered what director Michael Mann’s seminal cops and robbers movie Heat (1995) would’ve been like if it had starred today’s action hero Gerard Butler? Well, wonder no more!

Gerry plays a cop who doesn’t play nice, hasn’t read the rulebook and is distressingly close to being an actual bad guy. But he’s pretty good at chasing villains, and in this movie they’re a daring gang of bank robbers (including American Gods’ Pablo Schreiber, O’Shea Jackson Jnr from Straight Outta Compton and 50 Cent) planning a seemingly impossible heist.

It’s not as good as Heat (is anything?) but it’s much better than you might expect.
