EARTH: ONE AMAZING DAY

Documentary. Spectacular photography abounds in this BBC sequel to Earth (2007) that tracks the course of nature in a single day from dawn to its end. There’s everything from cute pandas and the incredibly rare white headed langur to violent giraffes and sleepy sperm whales.

You might recognise some sequences from Planet Earth II and other series, but the beautiful images and subtle narration from actor Robert Redford make them worth watching again.

It’s not quite the same without David Attenborough’s narration, but it’s hard to beat BBC when it comes to nature documentaries.
