Beliebers might want to sit down for this one. JUSTIN BIEBER is officially – and legally – off the market. After weeks of speculation it’s being reported that the Friends hit-maker and HAILEY BALDWIN tied the knot on 13 September – the day they were spotted applying for a marriage licence in New York. According to an insider, Justin’s friend Josh Mehl was a witness at their intimate wedding ceremony, which was officiated by preacher Jeffrey Quinn.

But the news everybody seems to care about even more than their secret wedding is that Justin – whose worth a cool $256 million (R4,2 billion) – didn’t bother signing a prenuptial agreement. According to US news outlet TMZ, Justin (24) and Hailey (21) both reached out to lawyers for a prenup but were in such a rush to get hitched that they couldn’t wait for the legal documents to be drafted.

But it’s not too late for the Biebs and Hailey – who through lucrative modelling contracts has amassed a net worth of $2 million (R33 million) – to protect their respective fortunes. They can still sign a postnuptial agreement, which does the same thing as a prenup, and reportedly Justin’s team is likely working on it. “They didn’t tell anyone on their teams what was going on and his people have been frantically trying to get his business affairs and finances in order,” says an insider. A source tells People magazine the whole thing was a surprise even to their nearest and dearest. “They went ahead and did it without listening to anyone,” the source claims.

But although the couple, who are deeply religious, rushed to make things legal, they still think a church ceremony is necessary to make the marriage mean- ingful in the eyes of God, which is when the marriage will become official.

According to an insider, Hailey wants a “wooded wedding with lights strung everywhere,” in early 2019 in Ontario, Canada, or New York.

And although the nuptials will be an intimate family affair one lucky person may have the opportunity to attend. Hailey’s uncle, Dirty Sexy Money star WILLIAM BALDWIN (55), recently told TMZ he wants to host a raffle, where the winner will be his date to the wedding. “How much money could I raise for a kick ass charity?
