KEEPING THAT YOUTHFUL VISAGE

-

Boyishly handsome Tom has consistently denied going under the knife but for years there’s been speculation that he’s had a nose job, a hair transplant and Botox as well as veneers on his teeth.

His appearance at a baseball game in San Francisco last year, where his face appeared swollen and he had “chipmunk cheeks”, created a social media frenzy and added to the rumours. Especially as he seemed back to normal shortly afterwards. Cosmetic surgeon Dr Alice Henshaw, owner of Harley Street Injectables in London, says his puffy face was most likely “due to post-procedure swelling”.

“I believe he’s had fillers under his eyes and around his mouth and nose in the past, but this time it was different.

“A side profile view of him shows his neck is also quite swollen. Filler wouldn’t be placed in this area, which signifies it’s likely swelling, or he could’ve had a procedure such as a platysmaplasty or neck lift combined with a mid-facelift. This could create this type of swelling in these areas and scars are easily disguised.”

Henshaw also believes talk of a hair transplant might be spot on.

“At almost 60, his hairline has remained relatively the same, although slightly thinning, which does suggest he might have had hair transplants.”

British aesthetic nurse Dawn Attewell puts Tom’s contoured jawline down to skin-tightening treatments such as Morpheus8, a micro-needling therapy for fine lines and wrinkles. His glowing complexion might indicate he’s having laser treatment, she adds.

As for that dazzling Hollywood smile, Attewell believes he had whitening treatments before upgrading to veneers for a grin so bright you could see him coming at 100 paces in the pitch darkness.
