5 THINGS we’re talking ABOUT this WEEK

ROBIN’S FAMILY AGAINST AI

ROBIN WILLIAMS’ daughter ZELDA has slammed the use of artificial intelligence to recreate the voice of the actor nine years after his death. “I’ve already heard AI used to get his ‘voice’ to say whatever people want and while I find it personally disturbing, the ramifications go far beyond my own feelings,” Zelda (34) wrote in an Instagram post. “These recreations are, at their very best, a poor facsimile of greater people, but at their worst, a horrendous Frankensteinian monster, cobbled together from the worst bits of everything this industry is, instead of what it should stand for.”

HUGH’S TELL-ALL BOOK

For years he’s kept his private life under wraps, but Australian actor HUGH JACKMAN is finally ready to reveal all. According to sources, Hugh (54), who recently announced his divorce from wife Deborra-Lee Furness (67), is working hard on the memoir, which is said to contain a few bombshells. “Hugh is choosing to write this book now because he’s finally being honest with himself,” an insider said.

SIA GETS A FACELIFT

After years of hiding her face behind wigs and hats during performances, singer SIA has revealed she’s had a facelift. Sia (47) made the revelation at the 2023 Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles, where she was presenting an award to her plastic surgeon Dr Ben Talei. “I’m a pop star who normally hides my face and doesn’t lie about s***. “I got an amazing facelift from Dr Talei. He is incredible.”

IDRIS THE WORKAHOLIC

Being seen as a hard worker in Hollywood can be both a blessing and a curse and it’s something British actor IDRIS ELBA has been in therapy for. During an appearance on the Changes with Annie Macmanus podcast, Idris (51) opened up about how he’s dealing with his tendency to be a workaholic in order to improve his personal life. “I work in an industry where I’m rewarded for those unhealthy habits,” he said. “I’m an absolute workaholic. And that isn’t great for life, generally. Nothing that’s too extreme is good.”

MILEY’S SCARY STALKER

MILEY CYRUS has been granted a protection order against a stalker who arrived at her home just days after he was released from jail. According to court documents, Alexander Kardalian (52) has been harassing Miley (30) since 2018, writing her letters asking for money and making sexual comments. The Flowers singer claims Alexander suffers from severe mental health issues and has a “dangerous fixation and/or obsession” with her.
