THERE’S no such thing as keeping a pregnancy a secret when you’re living in the public eye. Actress HALLE BAILEY has fuelled rumours that she’s expecting her first child after she was pictured walking about the streets of Santa Monica in oversized clothing.
The 23-year-old Little Mermaid star was seen wearing baggy sweatpants and an oversized hoodie while her rapper boyfriend, DDG, put his arm around her protectively.
Her fans have since flooded her social media posts to let her know that the cat’s out of the bag. “Congratulations, Pooh! Can’t wait for the little mermaid to come,” someone said on Instagram.
“Babe, we know so just announce it already,” said another.
A few days later, the actress and singer attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards clad in a strapless puffball minidress which hid her figure.
Rumours of a pregnancy first began to swirl in September when she attended the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards wearing a long flowy orange dress. She was pictured with a clutch covering her belly.
Fans pointed out that her Instagram photos from the evening were edited to hide her growing bump. “I see the Photoshop, she’s definitely pregnant,” a fan said on social media.
Halle and DDG are yet to address the speculation, but her fans are not fond of the rumoured baby daddy. Some even went as far as to call him a bum riding Halle’s success wave.
“We called DDG a bum because his music is whack and she deserves better.”
The rapper responded by changing his bio on X (formerly Twitter) to “Rich Bum”.
