FRIENDS REUNITED

Seeing our favourite casts or bands get together again is like taking a walk down memory lane – it can make you feel nostalgic, but it can also make you feel old!

DAKOTA AND DENZEL

It’s been 20 years since nine-year-old DAKOTA FANNING’s performance blew co-star DENZEL WASHINGTON away when they worked on the movie Man on Fire. Earlier this year we saw them reunite to promote their movie, The Equalizer 3.

’NSYNC

They had teen girls flustered in the noughties, and this year those same fans went into a flat spin when ‘NSYNC briefly reunited – 20 years later! JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, CHRIS KIRKPATRICK, JC CHASEZ, LANCE BASS and JOEY FATONE released a new song for the Trolls Band Together movie.

THE MEAN GIRLS

The one high school reunion fans have been looking forward to probably more than their own is that of the cast of the 2004 cult hit Mean Girls. Fans were delighted to see LINDSAY LOHAN, AMANDA SEYFRIED and LACEY CHABERT back on set as older versions of their characters in ads for the US chain store Walmart.

MODERN FAMILY

The beloved sitcom might have come to an end in 2020, but the Modern Family cast stay connected. In November SOFIA VERGARA hosted a reunion dinner with RICO RODRIGUEZ, ED O’NEILL, NOLAN GOULD, SARAH HYLAND, ARIEL WINTER, JULIE BOWEN, AUBREY ANDERSON-EMMONS, JESSE TYLER FERGUSON, ERIC STONESTREET and the shows creators, CHRISTOPHER LLOYD and STEVEN LEVITAN. Ty Burrell, who played dad Phil, was absent, but they made sure he was still part of the celebrations.

DESTINY’S CHILD

By the power of BEYONCÉ, past members from the iconic girl group reunited at the premier of the singer’s Renaissance film last month.

KELLY ROWLAND, MICHELLE WILLIAMS, LATAVIA ROBERSON and LETOYA LUCKETT showed up to support Queen Bey. No news of a studio reunion though.
