HARRY: I LOVE MY FAMILY
PRINCE HARRY has spoken out about his whistlestop trip to visit King Charles, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, raising hopes of a royal family reconciliation. Speaking to Good Morning America from Whistler, Canada, where he was promoting the 2025 Invictus Games, he said, “Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”
“I think any illness, any sickness brings families together,” he added later.
He and MEGHAN looked in good spirits at the games training camps despite the furore surrounding the rebranding of their Archewell Foundation’s website.
The couple were seen chatting to contestants and trainers. Harry even tried out the ski-carts adapted for disabled athletes and raced head-first in a sled going 99kph.
They’ve been facing harsh criticism for falling back on their royal ties by changing the site’s address to sussex.com and including the use of their duke and duchess titles and Meghan’s royal coat of arms.
The crest was bestowed on her after she married into the royal family in 2018.
The timing of the new website has also raised eyebrows, as it comes just as news of King’s Charles’ cancer diagnosis is sinking in.
The controversial pair seem to have no intention of slowing down.
“We’ve heard time and time again that certain opportunities are make-or-break for the couple,” a rep for the couple told the Mirror. “They’re still here. They’re still working and pursuing what they believe in, despite constantly being challenged and criticised. This couple will not be broken.”
