BATH TIME WITH BABY HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER THAN WITH PURITY & ELIZABETH ANNE’S ®

-

Bathing your newborn should be a special time of love and care that is enjoyed by you both. Don’t worry if at first you feel a bit nervous and anxious – it’s quite natural. With this step-by-step guide you’ll soon relax and find your own bathtime routine.

1Start by shampooing your baby’s hair. First wrap your baby up in a towel so he doesn’t get cold. Be sure to tuck his arms into the towel so that he can’t wriggle out of your grasp. Hold his head over the bath with his body held firmly between your elbow and hip. This way you support and control his head with your hand. Seal off his ears with your thumb and middle finger and gently wet his hair with water from the bath.

2Use a small amount of Purity & Elizabeth Anne’s Detangling Shampoo and massage your baby’s head with firm fingers. Rinse this off well. It has a soft fresh fragrance and uses a tear free formulation that won’t burn your baby’s eyes. It is ideal for smoothing out tangles, leaving your baby’s hair easier to wash and comb.

3Dry your baby’s head with the corner of the towel. Then soap his body all over with Purity & Elizabeth Anne’s Good Nights Head to Toe Wash, a rich, creamy soap free body wash that conditions and moisturises baby’s skin from top to toe. Enriched with soothing and calming ingredients perfect for a bedtime bath routine. Leave his hands soap free as he may put them in his mouth and eyes. Rinse and dry your hands before picking up your baby so he is less likely to slip.
