Q:I have a two-year-old daughter and both my husband and I work. She spends the day at home with a nanny, who tells me she is an angel during the day – she eats whatever is put in front of her, goes to sleep without a fuss at nap time and is full of smiles and giggles. However, when my husband and I get home she is niggly, throws tantrums, and even hits us or slams her door if she doesn’t get her way. It’s like living with a miniature teenager! I can’t help but think she misses us so much that when we come home she acts out. I’m considering giving up work to stay at home with her even though we can’t actually afford it.
