A BROTHER FOR MY DAUGHTER

I’m 31 and have been married to my high school sweetheart

for 11 years, and we have an 11-year-old daughter together. We’ve been trying to have a second child for all this time, but it just never happened. We did all sorts of medical tests to exclude any problems, but they always came back proving everything was fine. We just weren’t conceiving. I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t falling pregnant. My husband was always supportive and never pressurised me. My daughter always asked for a sibling, and I had to explain to her that these things are often not up to us. I eventually stopped worrying about it, and left it up to faith. Then last year we found out we were pregnant! I couldn’t believe it and my daughter was so happy. My husband fell to his knees and cried. He was over the moon and I’m still being treated like a queen. We’re expecting a baby boy and I can’t wait to meet him! BENEDICTA
